[Opinions] Sonya
Thoughts on Sonya. I also like the spelling Sonia. But I think I prefer Sonya.

It's a bit 70s dated but still kind of nice. I like both spellings. Sonia is more elegant but Sonya is younger and more playful. I think I'd choose Sonya.

I actually prefer Sonia. It looks a little softer, if that makes sense. How do you pronounce it...SOHN-ya or SAHN-ya? I usually say SOHN-ya (unless someone with that name tells me otherwise, haha).

I actually love Sonya. It is that nice balance of unique without being obscure. Plus it sounds a bit exotic.

I love it! Spelling in order of preference: Sonja, Sonya and Sonia.

I like it- both spellings you listed. Meeting a 2-year-old Sonya helped me to see how well it works on a modern child.

I like it. It has definitely grown on me. I rarely encounter little girls named Sonya these days, which I find pleasing. I prefer Sonia, but I don't mind Sonya. Sonia just looks more refined.
