[Opinions] WDYT of Audrey?
Thoughts on the girl name Audrey?
I've always really liked this name, but would it actually suit a girl in real life?

Yeah, I think it would be great on a girl in real life. I slightly prefer Audra. Audrey doesn't sound as old-lady as I'd expect it should, considering that the only one I've known is 70-something. I think Audrey sounds suitably warm and fun for a youth but also can be very grownup and smart.

It's okay. I have a cousin with this name, but it's not a bad name.

Of course! I like it a lot. I have seen it on a real-life person twice, and it was perfectly fine. I think it's a classy, understated name.

I find it dreary and dusty and depressing. I don't think of an elegant actress at all. Once I knew a slim, pretty, pleasant Audrey and I still disliked it. I also knew a fat, lazy, unintelligent Audrey with a silly smile, and it seemed quite appropriate. Harsh words, but unfortunately true.

I love the name Audrey. I think it's classy and traditional, while still fitting in with more modern names. It'd definitely suit a girl in real life, in my opinion :)

My dds and I were watching an Audrey Hepburn marathon one day when it struck me what an awesome name this is! I began thinking of other movie stars of old and came up with the perfect combo, Audrey Sophia. :-) I definitely think it would suit a girl in real life.

I like it. Have recently decided that actually. Funny thing is that I despise Aubrey/aubree etc. it seems to go from classy to trashy in that one letter.

I love Audrey! Since it's gaining popularity I think it works well in real life.

I really hate it. It makes me nauseated. It's because of the AAAWWW sound at the beginning. I HATE that sound. I hate Aubrey, also, for the same reason. But I think it's fine for a girl in real life.

It's fine, and I do like it, but it doesn't quite strike the fabulous chord for me, but it almost does. It's a nice go-to classic name, but I see it as quite beige. I do wear beige sometimes, though!I prefer Audra, and an even further preference I have is Andra (AWN-dra), so when I hear Audrey, I think of how much I like Andra almost instantly.

I like it despite it being too popular these days. It definitely works in real life. I imagine that an Audrey would be quiet, studious, and kind. I can also imagine a kindhearted energetic Audrey who isn't necessarily studious, though.

I love it. I've known a couple Audrey's IRL and it's gaining popularity, so of course it works. My favorite combos are Audrey Caroline and Audrey Claire.

In real life? Audrey's pretty common, so yeah, I guess it would. I don't care much for it though, it sounds dull and glum.
