[Opinions] WDYT of Nancy?
Is it too old or boring? Or is it ready for a comeback? I just met a little girl named this, and I thought I'd ask.

I think it's ready for a comeback. It's pretty, nice, and at least I could easily imagine it on a little girl.

I LOVE this name, because it has special meaning to me. I think it's a lovely name, with a nice meaning and I think it's ready for a comeback.

I like this name a lot-I think it sounds peppy and sweet! I wish it would make a comeback, although maybe it's a bit too soon. Very pretty.

I rather like it. However, it does make me think of Nancy Spungen (Sid and Nancy) and that can bring a bad connotation for me.

I think it's cute. Yeah, a little old, but it's always had such a pretty sound to it.

I actually like the name Nancy! Even though some may say that it's outdated, I still think it would make a good choice for a girl these days.

I love it! I think many people will associate it with people in the 45 to 60 year old range, because it was really popular then. Those that associate it with that won't think it's quite ready for a comeback, but I love it. I think that it's a very fun, light-hearted name. It is a little nicknamey for me though...probably because it is a nn, but most outside of us namenerds don't know that."No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

I agree with you. The only Nancy I know it 52! But she's a very nice lady so this name has a good connotation for me. I wouldn't mind using it - especially since I also think of Nancy Drew whom I loved as a little girl! (she was WAY cooler than the Babysitter's Club girls! :P)

I think it's old and boring... but maybe that's just me! The youngest Nancy I know is 16.
