[Opinions] Re: Eleanor vs. Elinor (plus other variant names)
Elinor is my favorite. It's sleeker, more elegant, and Eleanor feels almost brassy in comparison. I even like the botanical/hobbitty Elanor and the sprawling Eleanore more than Eleanor. It just doesn't appeal to me. I wish I felt differently, to tell the truth, because I love the Eleanor Roosevelt association that comes with the traditional spelling. I like Lenora and, especially, Lenore, but not enough to ever use them and nowhere near as much as I love Elinor.
