[Opinions] Annora
So, what do you think of Annora?
Are there any weird or bad connotations, associations?

I love the sound of Annora, but I prefer the Honora spelling. Annora *looks* like a smooshed Ann + Nora. I know it isn't, but it looks so uncomfortable for Ann and Nora. (As an Ann myself, I may be a little sensitive.);-)

I love it. I can't think of any bad connotations or associations. There are related names that it could easily get confused with (Onora, Honora, etc) but I like Annora best anyway :P

love. It's a pretty and understated name. Slightly prefer Melora.

I adore Annora and would have preferred this to my dd's name, Anna. I've never known a soul with the name so there are no bad connotations or associations for me. Annora is so exotic and mysterious to me, almost witchy.

I love Annora. I think it's terribly underused.

Sorry, but it sounds a bit like Aurora (a name I already dislike), with 'anal' in the front. Anna and Nora are both much better names.

I like! It splits very neatly into Ann or Nora, and is excellent without being split. Much nicer that Honora, and less of a burden - I often feel sorry for graceless Graces, atheist Christines and gloomy Joys. Rather to my surprise, I've got no associations with Annora at all.

Thanks everyone! The reason why I asked for connotations and associations is that I checked the comment section for Annora on this site. Someone there stated that the name reminded them of "anorexia" and someone else mentioned that it sounded somewhat close to the word "annoying".
And now Amalthea brought up the "anal" association. While I can see the "anorexia" thing - although I wouldn't have noticed it hadn't it been mentioned by someone else -, I kind of have a hard time hearing/seeing "annoying" or "anal" from Annora. Is that just me? Or are these associations obvious to everyone else (which would make them connotations and worth considering when... ;) )?
Anyway, thanks for your answers everyone! I really appreciate them!

I can see anorexia just because of the closeness to Annora. Still, I don't think it's that bad. The anal, thing? No. It's no more associated with anal than any other name beginning with An: Anna, Ana, Anastasia, Annabel, Annabella, Annalisa, etc. With a name such as Analia or Analeigh (which I just came across today), then yes, I'll admit that I see anal straight off.
