[Opinions] Lucian and Ronan
These names have been on my mind lately. What do you think of them? I like Ronan a lot, I find it strong and fits with the trendy names without being too popular. I have mixed feelings about Lucian. I pronounce it loo-SHIN. I want to like it because I like Luke/Luc and Lucas but I find that is sounds too soft and feminine and kinda sounds like lotion. Does anyone else get that vibe? What are your feelings on it? How do you pronounce it?

I find both names to be soft but I think they still work. Ronan more than Lucian. I prefer Rowan over Ronan, not really sure why, I don't think I like the hard "n" in the middle of the name.
As for Lucian, I pronounce it LOO-see-ahn, and I like it because I like all "Luce" names in general. The way you pronounce it I can see why it sounds like lotion, there is little distinguishing the two. I feel that it wouldn't work, there's just something about it, I think maybe because it's really close to Lucifer, and that name gets a lot of bad feedback from just about everybody. It's nice on paper.

I really like Lucian. I reckon it has a cool sound. I say it like LOO-shun. I don't find it feminine at all. I suppose it does sound like lotion - I'd never thought of that before. Ronan I don't like. I agree with you about the strong and trendiness of it, but to me it just doesn't sound attractive.
