So yes, Jackson has become a very popular name. I named my son Jackson and I had no idea it was as popular as it is. Looks like their will be a couple of them in his classes at school!

But what I came across at a local playplace was a boy named Jackson Daniel, what do you think? I like the sound of it but is it too close to Jack Daniels?

Yah, Jackson is super popular. I don't like it much. Every time I hear a person is going to name their kid that, I do a invisible eye roll. Its just has no substance, imo. Jack is 100 times better. I guess Jackson came about when everyone was adding -sen and -son to everything.
Jackson Daniel is close to Jack Daniels and I wouldn't use it, but at least he has a less trendy name like Daniel to fall back on.

Some people would actually like the association, although I hope it wasn't planned. My ln is Daniels, and I had classmates in middle school ask me if I'm related to Jack Daniel's. The brand has an apostrophe, my ln does not, so Jackson will not be alone in being asked that.

Whoops, yup Jackson Daniel is kinda close to Jack Daniels. :) It does sounds nice though.

What is your Jackson's middle name?

My sons names are:

Jordan Xavier & Jackson Lionel (Lionel is their father's name)
