Rebecca may not be as popular as it has been, but it isn't dated. It's pretty much timeless. More so than the Biblical Hannah, which went through a long period of disuse before suddenly becoming very popular.
I think Rebecca's a very pretty name. I don't like the nns Becky or Becca, they seem very babyish, and Reba is laughably hillbilly. I've known plenty of Rebeccas, and quite a few went by just Rebecca with no nn.

Funny difference I've noticed- in Australia, nearly every Rebecca I know goes by Bec or Becks, but in the US Becca and Becky are used (which I've never heard used here).
I have two close friends in the US who are Becca and Becka respectively, and then I have about 6 or 7 relatively close friends named Bec in Australia but I have never met a single Becca or Becky. Your nickname opinions just reminded me of that.
