[Opinions] WDYT of Verity?
Subject says it all. I find it very appealing, but sometimes I think the sounds is almost corporation-like, maybe because of the financial company Fidelity.

I like it, but I wouldn't use it. It's a bit like Temperance; I like it in theory, but I don't think it would work.

I like it as a given name, even though I usually dislike lnfns (and I once had a teacher who was Miss Verity); not sure how it would get nicknamed, though. Very would be unpleasant!I remember seeing a book or books once with an author, forget the ln, whose fn was Verily. I disliked that instantly!

It would be easy to get used to Verity on a person. I think the corporation idea would fade away pretty quickly if you knew someone with this name. I love the meaning! Definitely prefer Vera, but might use Verity as a FN (definitely as a MN).

It seems fairly ordinary as a name to me, probably because I have a cousin with it. I think it's usable, but it probably depends on where you are.

Yup, corporation-like. I'm not a fan. There are a few 'actual' names :) with Ver-. How about some of these?
Vera
Verena
Verica
Verona
Veronica

I agree. I like the name in theory, but would never even think about using it in real life.

I like the name on a girl, especially for a character in a book. In real life, it might work better as a middle name.
