I like Leopold, but I don't like it as a first name. It sounds too royal/highbrow.
I like Leonard, or Leo.
Poldi is awful! Sorry.
It reminds me of Poltergeist and the German soccer player Lukas Podolski who is called that way.
I like the looks and sound of Lysander, but it's not a real person's name to me... too much memories of A Midnummer Night's Dream.
Samson certainly has a nice meaning... but I don't really like it. I assume it's the sound... and Samson from Sesame Street. Naw.
