My in-laws banned nicknames and it worked for all but one kid.

Panties in a wad because of our Lounge argument? I seriously didn't mean it as literal. If I had I would have admitted it to you. I honestly meant it as a "parents can steer people away from a nickname but if its going to happen its going to happen" sort of way.

The way you phrased the thread and the language you used made it seem as if you thought I was banning the nickname. If I was wrong, I apologize, but your wording is the problem
