[Opinions] What do you think of these names for Welsh siblings?
I've eventually come up with names I like for the main protaganists in my novel-in-progress but I'm curious to hear what others think of them. Do their names fit their peronalities?Owain Tudur (b. Dec. 12, 1972) - ladies' man, loving brother, confident and exuberant which makes him generally more likable than Dyfan, when dealing with any sort of problem his temper can turn either cold or hot regardless.Dyfan Tudur (b. Apr. 1, 1975) - careful strategist and diplomat, most loyal of friends, a natural leader like his father, he is always the first one to censure disorder, but he has yet to show he has his father’s patience.Llywelyn Tudur (b. Mar. 1, 1980) - Llelo for short, thirteen, usually good-natured, just a bit stubborn, and sometimes displaying flashes of pure tactical genius, struggles with feelings of having to live up to his two older brothers.Elin Tudur (b. Aug. 11, 1981) - matchmaker, baby of the family and only girl, a very young eleven, probably from being home-schooled and having all those big brothers being alternately overprotective and teasing.

They seem like good sibling names imo. Is Elin also used in Wales? I've always thought of it as being Scandinavian.

Yes, though I think Heledd is a more common Welsh variant of Helen.

Llywelyn and Elin? They seem a bit too rhymey for siblngs to me. Aside from that, the names are nice.
