I have really started to like Genevieve. Only drawback - I have met two so far and in both cases (35 year old, 7 year old) it was always shortened to Gen. I don't think the parents intended this, it is just one of those names likely to be shortened. There are definitely enough women named Jen and Gen out there (hello Jennifer and Jenna). Hmmm. So what are your opinions on Genevieve?
