[Opinions] Kimberly
Saw a person on Another Board complaining about this being another surname turned girl's name.Again, that's the problem with the educated, elitist systemic bias in many parts of internet - some posters misunderstand and think that *most* people share the views of the intellectual elite in things whereas in reality they don't.As for Kimberly, it's been a girl's name for so many decades that i would challenge the intellectuals to find many modern "average" people who know it was once a surname.

or, more to the point ...You'll have a hard time finding a person with the surname Kimberly. I know I never have, though I know they must be out there. Maybe the only one most people will ever come across is whoever lent their name to Kimberley-Clark.
You'd be lucky if you found many people who know it's even a place name.

Hi !!!Mmm...So you are coplaining about people who dislike some names because they were originally surnames? Or you want to defend only names that despite that have a long history as names?Anyway...Kimberly is nice as given name. It is pretty and feminine! I like it.
