Do you mean the Roman Mysteries? I watched the TV series when I was younger but wasn't able to find the books here back then. I should look for them again, I love to read about ancient Rome :)

I don't know that I am....There's a series of books about a Roman investigator called Didius Falco, and she's recently started a new seriees about his adopted daughter a blonde British-born woman called Flavia Albia. Some of them are great. The first book The Silver Pigs is one of my all time favouritesETA - definitely NOT the Roman Mysteries - different author
