I prefer Luana to Eliana, which I find a bit precious, but I don't like either very much. I taught an Italian girl called Luana a few years ago & hadn't heard it before I met her. It's got a strangely 50s kind of vibe to it I don't know why

To me, Luana sounds hickish and possibly frumpy while Eliana seems classy and elegant.

I love Luana, but then, Lu names are my favorite. Eliana is pretty, too. I say "arna" for "ana" endings, and Anna, if there is a double "n". An exception would be Diana, but that is in wide use and everyone uses the Anna ending, as far as I know.

I prefer Luana, I never like Eliana maybe because I don't like Elian.

I imagine Luana as a cute princess-like little girl. I think it has the similar style for Luna. I dislike Luna what sounds like a name for a toy or a cartoon character in my view, but Luana is not bad. I'll consider parents who choose Luana are kinda clever.

Eliana looks classic but I always deemed it was actually not because Elian is really modern and pop culture style for me. But it seems I was wrong before. So Eliana is a classic and old-fashioned name from my perspective now. Now I'll imagine Eliana as a calm girl with dark hair. If you ask me how will I imagine her parents, I'll say they are traditional type maybe.
