It just sounds like a spoiled brat. Maybe because all the Brees I knew growing up were spoiled brats. However, Bree was always short for Brianna.

It's fine as a NN for Brianna, et al., but I really dislike it as a stand-alone name.

It is a bit girly and such, but it is alright. Maybe as a nickname or middle name.

I always thought it was kinda ditzy. The image I get of it is that of a bleach blonde with a stereotypical "valley girl" voice, a spray tan, and a little dog in her purse.

I kind of like it. Call me crazy.

I like it in concept but yeah, it is a bit 'brie'. As a nickname for Brianna or something, it's fine. As a full name 100% of the time, I don't think it works as well.

I love Brigh. Bree is all cheese to me.

Hi Perrine !!!I really like Bree.
I like the sound itself...Names like Breana, Gabrielle, Brighid or Sabrina.. just Bree is nice!As you know I like more classic names BUT in the section 'NNs' it is one of my favourite!

I like it. B. has a forty-third cousin seventy times removed named Bree. lolOkay, seriously. I think she's his first cousin twice removed? Something like that, and her name is really Bree'Onna, but she's called Bree often. You'd have to know B. and the fact that he's distant cousins with half of the African-Americans in this county to appreciate the joke there. Not long ago I read a news article about a young man being shot and killed in his house on the same street that B. lives on, and when I asked him about it, sure enough, the guy was his "cousin". What degree of cousin is anyone's guess, if it's 43rd cousin, he still says "cousin".I once knew a male Brie whose name was really Brian.I like it, but I think I prefer it as a nickname for Brianna, which I love.

It's okay, but just okay. I far prefer Brianna or Sabrina by themselves.
