[Opinions] Ciarán
Does Ciarán work outside of Ireland? I really like it spelled that way.

I have a friend from college named Ciarán (Ciarán Pádraig, for that matter). He has brothers Donncha, and Cormac. His dad is from Ireland. I think it works well - he just tells people how to pronounce it, no big deal. Although he pronounces it ki-RAHN, which I understand isn't typical.

I think it would be fine. People would probably pronounce it wrong at first but get the hang of t quickly. I went to high school with a Ciara, pronounced the Irish way, and she seemed to get along fine.

Probably not. I'd stick with Kieran.
