[Opinions] Oliver and Aurora
These two have been on my mind. What do you think of Oliver and Aurora?

Trendy. Boring. Somewhat cute. Honestly these are the kind of names that don’t leave any real impression at all.

Together or separately?I like Oliver and would like it much more but for the risk of it turning into Ollie. Strictly a mn!Aurora is a ballet princess as well as a winter light show. And Rory is a male name/nickname. So, no.And I don't think they go together well either.

I don't like Rory as a nickname for Aurora. It has such a completely different feel from the full name. I would rather use Aury or no nickname at all. I do like Rory on its own. I meant separately but I guess as a sibset they'd be nice. Totally agree about Ollie it is one of the reasons why I would hesitate to use it plus its popularity.

I love both but Oliver is too popular for me. Aurora isn't yet too popular for me but it is getting close. I'm hoping it is slowing down and that it won't get more popular than the top 40. Aurora is currently my favorite girl's name with the nn Rory. I love the aurora around the poles, it is so beautiful in a mysterious bewitching way.

I love Aurora too - especially with the nickname Rory - and that any Rory might use the name Aurora as a nickname.

Aurora I'm not fond of. Difficult is the only word that comes to mind although I'm not sure how or why.Oliver, on the other hand, I love! The full name and the nn Oli.

I like them, but they are both getting very popular.

I like both of them in theory, but whenever I hear/say Aurora I think it sounds awkward. But I love how it looks and the feeling I get from seeing it - it has that magical feeling somehow.Oliver used to be my #1 boys name and the one I was sure I would name my firstborn son. I still really like it and it's on my list.
