Wow. That's seriously bad. First three sound like dogs. And DODGEBALL?! They might as well name him Rugby or Soccer. Dodgeball?? Holy sh*t.

Eh, it's fine.

This made me LOL.

Dude, I just don't care, anymore. Life is too damn short to get hung up on Dodgeball.

Oh, I meant no criticism. After all of the "OMG" responses, yours was refreshing.

Oh, I know. Sorry, tone doesn't come across well on the internet. :P

Except for Archie, they sound like a litter of freaking German shepherd puppies.
Dodgeball is just plain stupid. I guess the next one they whelp will be named Squat Tag?

Archie sounds like their elderly schnauzer.

true enough ...It's a human name but definitely is better on a dog. Or an old human. An old cranky human with a squawky wife named Edith.

Dodge..Are you talking about Nathan Hindmarsh (footy players) kids? I knew that his fourth son was Dodge, but I haven't seen any reference to his full name being Dodgeball.. On his instagram account he announced his son as Dodge Billy Hindmarsh.

That’s really not any better imho

not that much better ...It's like Avoid the Noid, except you have to dodge Billy.

I think Dodge is just a little eccentric, while Dodgeball crosses the line into being cruel.

I'm not sure. It was a renovation video on YouTube but the lady did seem pretty wealthy.

Looks like it.Rowdy should be Rowdie in that case.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_Hindmarsh

Yeah it's Rowdie on his instagram too.

Archie sounds mischievous because of the comics and 'arch' as an adjective. Brings to mind Archer and Archibald.Rowdy, omg, haha...at least it's fun to say. It's like Rogue / Rebel / Rusty, which I'm used to seeing...also reminds me of Riordan a little bit.Buster is more like Spike or Buddy or Bamm-Bamm.Buster + Dodgeball made me think "ball-buster"...also I think of sports, cars, bullying, and exploited orphans. I feel so sorry for Dodge for multiple reasons.

That is bizarre indeed. Archie is good but then the fetchin’ wheels came off.

Who the hell names a kid Dodgeball?OT: I hated playing dodgeball in school. I always thought it was kind of a mean game. I remember one year a girl at my school ended up breaking three of her fingers after getting pounded by dodgeballs. This girl was really small (she was literally two heads shorter than me), and I felt really bad for her.

I hated it, too. In Sweden we call it Spökboll (Ghost ball) or Jägarboll (Hunter ball), btw.

Buster!!!!!!!And Jonny Lee Miller named his son Buster. Maybe that will make it cool so I can stop being embarrassed.Okay, that was ten years ago so prolly not.Well, to have an SO named Rowdy would be worse.I actually kind of like Dodge, but not Dodgeball.

You always hear those stories, like "My sister wanted to name me Bucket" except the parents actually went for it.Rowdy the parents may have picked themselves; I've seen it a few times and: https://www.behindthename.com/top/beyond.php?name=Rowdy
Archie's ok I guess. I like Arch- names but Archie isn't my thing.

My sister wanted to name me Baby Jesus or Lauren Ruth.

Nothing wrong with Lauren Ruth. I like it!

It's my BFF's name (she was an infant at the time; our moms were friends). Would have been awkward. Plus, Lauren was in the Top 10 the year I was born, which probably would have bugged me. But yeah, it's not bad, otherwise...I think it sounds straightfoward, and "laurel friend" is a sweet meaning.

I've known too many Laurens. My vote goes to Baby Jesus.

ha, I'd probably have voted for Babe Ruth "BB" as a compromise (when I was a kid, if my sister had been discussing potential sibling names with me). Or maybe Shannon Ivy / Ivy Shannon...I think those were my favorite names around pre-school age...actually, I wouldn't mind being named that.
