It is usable, just very dated IMO. I don't see why it would not be usable.

I honestly think Glen looks incomplete. I prefer Glenn. It's definitely usable. I've never heard it used where I live, but I'm familiar enough with the name.

There are very few male names I'd say are dowdy, but Glen is one of them.Is it usable? If you were in my line of work, one in which you encounter literally thousands of names borne by real life people. you'd come to find that very few names are really unusable, and Glen is certainly not one of them.

Completely agree.

Sounds kind of old for a baby, and the spelling Glen looks a bit incomplete somehow compared to Glenn, which seems to be a bit more common. Somehow to me, Glenn looks to complete as well and I am not sure how much I like this name. Not ugly, just super plain and very dated.

I like Glen and I think it is usable. I like the sound and the meaning. It is simple and people can not make anything wrong with it.

I've never met any, but I have the feeling that Glen is a schmuck. No idea where that is coming from, though. The sound is fine; I just don't like the vibe I get from it. I could get over it if I used it daily to refer to someone really awesome, but if they were just average, I'd probably keep disliking it.

Glen Miller? Usable but dated. But it was never very popular so it's not tied to a particular decade. Why not - it's neat and tidy and outdoorsy.I met a Glennifer once, and as far as I know, she was never called Glen.
