Not trying to copy off the 'Elizabeth' post below, but as you may know, I've been on a Spanish names kick lately (thanks to new friends I've made at work who are of Mexican and Colombian heritage. :) I should add that they have great names, too!). One of the names I've been favouring lately is Elisabet. There's something appealing about it that I can't quite put my finger on.

Anyway, I'm trying to find nicknames for it that are used in the Spanish-speaking countries. Does any know any of these nicknames? Out of the blue today I came up with Lisi (lee-see), but I think I might've just made that up, lol. Sounded good anyway. Can anyone help me out?
