I think it's a lovely name. It sounds fresh and reminds me of spring.

I've known a few. My nieces' know triplets named Naomi, Lilah, and Greta. I'm surprised that people find it so ugly. It reminds me of Greta Garbo.

The sound is not very pleasant. Grating.

I don't really care for the way it sounds, but I like it because it was my late aunt's name. She was Norwegian and spelled it Grethe.

Nice

Not at all my style. It just doesn't feel very elegant, if that makes sense. I don't love how it flows. However, I don't loathe it. If I met a little Greta, I would probably think she was cute. I just wouldn't use it myself.

It's okay. It sort of just is, not standing out too much or too little, which might be what you're looking for. How about using it as a short form of Margreta to spice it up?

Hi A !!!I dislike it and its sound. Greta reminds me gretta that in Italian means "mean; stingy; small-minded". Despite this fact Greta is very popular being #8 in 2017. Overly popular in my opinion.Currently Greta Thunberg is my main association with it. Good by not enough to make the name pleasant.

Lovely and vivacious names, and I like the Greta Garbo association.

One of the ugliest names I know. It also rimes with feta, which is the Swedish word for "fat". And also a cheese..

I thought of the name because of Greta Thunberg
I wonder if the name will be used more because of her.

I hope not. It’s ugly. I don’t care how popular some people get for righteous or ridiculous causes, ugly names are still ugly names.

I made a similiar post really not too long ago... https://www.behindthename.com/bb/baby/5050825But anyway, I really like it. I think Greta is a very sweet and gorgouse name and sounds refreshing. This is the name I used for my main character in a series I've been working on for years and a name I wouldn't mind considering using in real life, if given the opportunity.
