[Opinions] WDYTO Corliss?
Corliss (https://www.behindthename.com/name/corliss/submitted) means "free from grief / free from care". Obvi it sounds a bit like "careless". It seems to have had a bit of a rise in trend after WWII, which is fitting for the meaning.I like these names that are like well-wishes on the child.Nns... Cor, Corrie, Corly, Corlie, Liss, Lissy, Lizzy, Liz, Lissa, Orly?WDYTO it?ॐ मणिपद्मे हूं
"Speak the truth; yield not to anger; when asked, give even if you only have a little."
"Live alone and do no evil; be carefree like an elephant in the elephant forest."

It sounds a bit strange, but could work for a character. I prefer Coral, or, better yet, Coraline.

The name is okay, just don't go with Corless instead.
Orly is my favorite nickname. Cor, Corrie, Corly, Corlie are all cute too.

I remember liking it...maybe 10 or so years ago...but at some point I heard it as 'coreless' aka 'hollow', and now I can't unhear that.I'd only use Cor, of the NNs.

Hi Daffodil !!!It is the first time that I see Corliss. It is lovely!! The meaning is moving. Corliss sounds fresh nowadays and the look/spelling is very lively! Cool!
