I've never given Eli much thought previously, but I was reminded of it by listening to the Three Dog Night song "Eli's Coming", and all of a sudden it grew on me. What do you think of Eli?

So funny how a name you never cared for can just grow on you so suddenly, happens to me all of the time!

I like Eli, but I only like it as a nn for Elijah, Elliott, or Elias.

I used to like it back when I thought it's pronounced like Ellie, but EE-lie sounds slimy to me.

I like it. It has a good meaning, it's recognisable but not too popular, and it gives off solid/wholesome vibes to me.

Love it! We considered it for a mn for Jasper, but obviously didn’t go with it. Well 2 years later, one of my nephews was born and his name is Eli! I think it’s a very handsome name and I like the shortness of it.
