[Opinions] Megan or Morgan
Which name do you prefer? Or maybe you prefer a variant of one of them? Just wanted to know, because these names are pretty similar. I personally like Megan and Morgane.

I like both! One of my favorite YouTube channels is run by a girl named Megan, and she's a real character! But then, Morgan has the variant of Morgana that I really love. So right now, Morgan.

I still like Megan. Before it went viral, I would have seriously considered using it, but now I wouldn't.I would use Morgan all right, but only for a boy.

I prefer Morgan over Megan (mostly because of sound I think). I also prefer Tegan over Megan.

I really like Morgan as a unisex name, but I prefer masculine use. If we're talking purely feminine names, I'd choose Megan. However, if you're asking me to choose between Megan [f] and Morgan [m], I'd choose Morgan.I think its because while I agree, I think Megan is sunnier and sweeter, I don't like Meg as a nickname. I also don't like the American pronunciation of MAY-gan. Morgan, on the other hand, does not have such drawbacks and because I like them both almost equally, I think Morgan has that slight edge.

Megan. I like Morgan, too, but Megan is more...something. I'm not quite sure what. Sunny? Positive? IDK.

If we're taking the names as they're stated in the OP, I prefer Megan as a feminine name, because I actually think of Morgan as masculine. But of spelling variants, I actually think Meghan looks better than Megan despite having an "extra" letter (Megan looks like it's missing something, for some reason; I'm of the same opinion in Rachael vs. Rachel). However, I vastly prefer Morgana to all. When I first learned of the tales of Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, Morgana le Fay was the name given to the sorceress; and I didn't learn until years later that she was actually known as Morgan in most translations. So Morgana was the name that stuck with me.

Morgan but only for a boy! If the question implies girl, then my choice would be to Megan. If not, Morgan all the way. I've always thought that 'Megan/Meghan/Maegan/Maeghan' had an annoying sound to it. /:

I prefer Morgan because I'm tired of Megan. Megan is one of those names that was already popular by the time I ever thought about it, so my perception of it from the beginning was colored by its overuse.
