It doesn't feel like a real person's nae, but like a character's name, or nickname. It's so very country-western feeling.
In "The Last Picture Show" by Larry McMurtry, (book and movie) there's a peripheral character called Abilene. It's never said whether that's his first, last or nickname. I'm assuming it's a nn, after the Texas city.
But as a given name rather than a nn, the sound is very feminine.Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
