Help[Opinions] Wdyt of Almanzo?
I've always liked this name though I wouldn't use it myself. It was the husbands' name of the author Laura Ingalls Wilder. What do you all think of it?

Almanzo sounds like an awkward man who plays a kazoo and looks for occasions to wear leiderhosen.

I thought it was cool looking the first time I saw it. I could imagine a brother named something like Gustavus.
I have zero interest in Laura Ingalls Wilder or her life, but I wouldn't use it because the manzo part looks silly to me (I wouldn't use Armando either).

I’ve never heard of this name before. To me it looks made up. A combination of Alma and Alonzo. That said I think the name could grow on me.

I'll never not think of Almanzo Wilder. It's an interesting name though.
