Help[Opinions] Re: May, Mae, Mei and Mai

Between the first two, I easily prefer the spelling of Mae. It looks more elegant, feminine and is a bit more separate from the often used word.
I don't really care for either of Mei or Mai but prefer the sound of Mei slightly more.
