What is your opinion of these two names, Aneurin and Ocean? Which would you pick? What would be his middle name?Sparrow

Ocean just isn't a human name, attribute, anything. It seems to work in French, but not in English at all.So, Aneurin! Very Welsh, almost aggressively so, and pleasantly vintage. I'm not keen on Nye as a nn, but perhaps it could be avoided.Aneurin David
Aneurin Gareth
Aneurin James
Aneurin Frederick

Aneurin sounds like Aneurysm to me, unfortunately.
Of the two, I would pick Ocean.Ocean Georgie
From the Greek name Γεώργιος (Georgios), which was derived from the Greek word γεωργός (georgos) meaning "farmer, earthworker"

I like both names, but I prefer Aneurin, especially with the nickname Nye. That said, I'm not sure it would be worth giving a kid a name that's so likely to be mispronounced, especially outside the UK. It's a tough name to pair with a middle name, but probably something one syllable long works best?Aneurin Hugh
Aneurin Page
Aneurin Wilf
Aneurin Frank
Aneurin Bede
Aneurin James

I really like Aneurin. I love Welsh names and think Aneurin is very nice. As for a middle name I’d probably use something more common such as James or Paul. Aneurin Rhys is nice too. Ocean is ok. It’s not my style along with names like River and Sky. I don’t hate it but I’d never use it.
