[Opinions] Edana
thoughts, feelings, general impressions? I also like Adana with an A but prefer Edana slightly more. Adana feels like a straightforward noble heroine whereas Edana feels like her slightly more mischievous cousin. I like how strong it sounds. I most similarly pronounce it like Donna with an E, do you? Thank you! Please rate my "Names I would use" list if you have a spare moment, feel free to rate other lists too if you want but ik there's a lot, thank you :) https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/223226/138473

Looks and sounds like an unsuccessful attempt to improve Edna; which needs all the help it can get, but is probably beyond help and should be allowed to disappear quietly.

I liked it at first but the longer I look at it the more it makes me think of Edam (the cheese).I say eh-DAH-na or EH-dah-na (I am not quite sure). But the EH is long, like a French é.The German word for the cheese is Edamer and it really makes me think of it a lot. The cheese is not my favorite so that doesn't help. It is okay but I much prefer Gouda.

I liked it when I thought it was pronounced Donna with an E, but somewhere along the way, probably through the comments section, I’ve come to know (or think?) it’s actually pronounced e-DAY-na, like Dana with an E, really.
