It's very blocky and unrepentant. I could see this being the name of a scowling, iron-haired dinner lady built like a brick sh... ahem. It's stoic and almost...blunt sounding? Like a blunt implement. It also sounds like it could be the name of a volcano or a lake or a hill or something in somewhere like Iceland or the Faroe Islands. I don't dislike it because it's unpretty, difficult and interesting, but I like very few K names and I still think there are prettier, more useable K names out there.

It does not sound that nice to me in English, but I like it in my native language.

It's ok

I'm more familiar with Kilda, but Kelda seems nicer - doesn't contain Kill for one thing! I wouldn't use it, but it's OK.

I like it :)

Cute meaning (and I like the Norse trivia in the comments) but I don’t like the sound.

It's a nice alternative to most K names for girls, like Kelly, Kendra, Keely, Kelsey...I also like the meaning.
