They're both uh-LAN-na to me. I knew an Alana, my age, when I was a kid, but it does not seem very dated to me - because I haven't seen it on anybody else really. I guess it's about like Alison - not new and fresh at all, but not a total yestername either.I prefer Alana over all the double-n spellings.
It's a nice name.

I pronounce Alana and Alannah the same. ah-LAN-ah. It’s pretty that way. I prefer Alana, but Alannah isn’t horrible. Alana / Alannah is one of those names I find all ages with, so to me at least, it isn’t that dated.

I hate them both. They give off bratty mean girl vibes.

I say uh-lah-nuh for Alanna and Alannah. I say uh-LAN-uh for Alana, which is funny since Anna is ann-uh and Ana is AH-nuh to me. I don't know enough people with the name for it to feel dated. I really like the name, but it will always make me think of the Tamora Pierce heroine Alanna of Trebond and I'm not sure that's a good thing.

I pronounce them all the same, ah-LAH-na. I find it a little dated.

They're NMS, but alright - they have a certain gentle tranquillity. Alanna is my favourite spelling. I pronounce all of them ə-LAN-ə and I do find them dated.

I say them differently: Alana is A-LAH-na and Alannah as A-Lan-a. I like Alana better, but they're both just okay to me. If I wanted the Alannah pronunciation I'd just use Alanna, the h seems unnecessary.

I knew an Alannah at uni; she pronounced it uh-LAN-a, so that's what I'm used to and expect. I quite like it, but not enough to use. I'd expect Alana to be pronounced the same way, and Alanna as well I suppose. I love Alan for a boy, so I'd never think of using a fem form of Alan; Alannah isn't, but I still wouldn't use it - the sounds are too close.

Alana is cute and simple but not boring. Alannah is not bad, though I think it's too elaborated. Alanna is halfway between simple and elaborated. I don't really like double n's (although Annabelle, Arianna and Jennifer are exceptions).I pronounce Alana, Alanna and Alannah like ah-LAH-na.I don't find them dated.

I pronounce them differently: Alana is uh-LAHN-uh (long-A) whereas Alannah is uh-LAN-uh (more like Hannah). I'd pronounce Alanna like Alannah - it's the double-N that makes the difference for me.I used to be a big fan of Alannah. I'm pretty sure I had the combo Alannah Mavourneen in my top names a decade or so ago (talk about "Modern Irish," lol). Nowadays I find that combo obviously cheesy, but Alannah still has a certain charm to it. Doubt I'd use it in real life, though.
