One of my absolute favorite names. I think of a preppy girl. Lindy is a cute nickname too.

Very common mom-name to me, so there's no magic to it anymore. I did come across an Olinda and thought that was a very pretty variation (she was Portuguese).

This isn't a bad name at all, but I do prefer variants that aren't so tired. Linde, even if it had the same pronunciation as Linda, seems much prettier to me. Lindy, Lindita, Linza, all those are nice. And I like -linda as a suffix.

I think it's pretty, but it's so tied to a specific time period that it's hard to detach from that. I'd like to see it come back again, but I don't think it will any time soon.

It's not retro enough for me to like it. It's kind of a Jane Doe name for me.

ETA: It would be sparkly in the middle spot: Daphne Linda, Ianthe Linda, Clarentine Linda, Melusine Linda, Etiennette Linda...
