Cara is a great name, and it has been in my Top 10 before. I wouldn't be opposed to using it in real life (it's simple, easy to remember, and goes with a lot).

I think it means face in a language? Is it Spanish? Either way, it's an alright name. I think I prefer it spelled Kara though, because K names just tend to stick out more.

I think it's very pretty, and I prefer that pronunciation.

I have an aunt named Kara (care-uh) though so I'd never use it - it'd just cause confusion.
