[Opinions] WDYT of Fawn?
Fawn was a name that I thought sounded cute, but I don’t know if I have the guts to use it. Too infantile? Is it tacky?

Far too cutesy.

It's cute, I adore it.

I use this word/name as a term of endearment, so I love it but also don't see it as a namey-name. It would be like naming someone Babe or Darling - sort of charming, but also, not really.

In John le Carre's Smiley books, there's a man named or called Fawn; he is a security officer/hitman for British Intelligence and annoyingly spends his time squeezing a rubber ball. He is useful but not respected.

Suited to a cute toddler, especially a shy one. That shy image might impact negatively on a teen's confidence. Too twee for a grown woman.

Too cutesy for me. A usable alternative (IMO) would be Fern.
