I mean, it's fine. I don't particularly care for the names but they both have literary connections and that's nice.

I quite like Maia (if it's MIE-uh), but the girls' names do less than nothing for me. Violet is sickly sweet and Scout says Look at me, I've read a whole book! Really, why not use Jean Louise and let the reading public work it out?

I think they’re cute

Scout has always been a GP for me. But it’s one of those nicknames I think you could really use with any name. Scout on it’s own isn’t bad imo.
