I like it! It's very sweet and innocent and belongs with the likes of Pernille and Ottilie.

I dislike it. For some reason, it makes me think of watery unsweetened yoghurt, baggy thick yellow-beige tights sagging at the ankles, and oversize thick hornrim glasses (the untrendy kind), and a very specific light lemon yellow colour, or maybe the off-white beige-yellow of aged lino. I find it a very grating and unappealing name, it gives me a very specific and unpleasant emotional / mental reaction and I have no idea why. Objectively, it's probably not an awful name, I just really do not like it and have developed some weird associations with it. On paper I would quite like to like it, it looks like it could be pretty, and sometimes I do try with it, I try combos, I use it in name games, I tell myself 'it can't be that bad why do I react to it this way', but I think I have to accept that the reality is, I just do not like it.

It’s pretty but it’s too associated with the Les Miserable character. I might consider using it for a cat but not a child. It would also be shortened to Eppie a lot of the time.

I am a fan of Les Miserables so of course there is a soft spot. However, I think people might pronounce it “epo-9” and it could get annoying to clarify.

I love it, but I would never be brave enough to use it on a human.

I think it's a little like Ophelia: it's got a distinctive sound and is tinged with desperation (or wistfulness, if I reach for a positive word).I somewhat like it, mainly because it's connected to horses (Epona), and because I tend to like *een endings in names.
