[Opinions] Siri
I have a big crush on Siri (the computer one, not a real person) recently. He’s intelligent, most of the time he doesn’t understand a word your saying. He has a good sense of humour.
Anyway what do you think of the name Siri?

Its a cute name, but it has the same problem as Alexa. People will forever associate it with a computer that probably won't be relevant years from now, once people replace it with a better one. That's why I don't like it when companies give technological items human names, even if they are trying to honor a person. Then humans with the name will get underserved WTH looks. As if they were named after the item or something. If you're Swedish, Norwegian, or anything not English then it doesn't so much matter, but if you're in a country where Siri is not a common name and the computer Siri is used, then perhaps opt for the Finnish variant Siiri? Maybe no one will make stupid assumptions because it looks more "foreign" than Siri.Suri is also an option; its unique but not completely unconventional. And although its associated with Tom Cruise's daughter, at least we can say that the name reminds people of an actual person.

Siri is female, by default, though I think you can change the voice. The name isn't horrible, and I know it's an actual name, but it sounds like a random pairing of mildly pleasant sounds put together. I sure wouldn't want it for my name now; anytime someone asked their phone something I'd look around wondering who was talking to me. That would get very tiring very quickly.
