I like it! I do prefer a full name, I’d never use it on it’s own, but it’s sweet, like parma violets.

evie est mieux comme surnom mièvre pour Evelyn ou Everly

Very pretty, sweet and sharp and tart like an apple. As a full name, I like the usual Eve and Evangeline, but I also think Evadne should rise.

Cute as a nickname, insubstantial as a legal name. Even simply Eve would be better as a legal. But it is nice as only a nickname

Je pense ...It is so sickly sweet and cutesy it makes my teeth ache.

Overused in the UK. It’s lost any charm it ever had.

Oooo la la! Bonjour! I think Evie is an adorable nickname but nickname it is. I’m dismayed by its use as a full name. It’s barely a daggum name. It’s more like a sound. It’s not a substantial nickname like Sam or Ben. It feels more like naming someone Rach instead of Rachael.Anyway, Eve is a nice name. Evelyn isn’t but it’s better than Evie on its own.

I know an Evelyn. She has always been called Eve; when we were kids she was occasionally called Evie, which was mildly amusing seeing as she's close to six foot. But not as an adult, ever.

Ah...your sentence is in Spanish. Well, I think that Evie is a cute name. I don't like Eve or Eva, funny huh? I think of the Pokémon Evee or the girl from Disney Channel's Descendants. Mostly positive associations.

It sure as hell is. I forgot. Would've been funnier if I mistook it for Russian, as I don't know Russian either.

Happily Russian uses a completely different script, so you wouldn’t have done that :)
