A name in one language, but a word in another: Impi. I was looking up Finnish names the other day, and Impi seems to be the Finnish equivalent of Lassie or Girlie - it means Maiden or Virgin. Unfortunately, in Zulu it is the word for a battalion of soldiers, or a regiment: the two meanings could hardly be further apart.
