As a country? Lovely. Fascinating history. Messy twentieth century that was woefully underexamined even in my History of Ireland class in college. Wonderful art, architecture and literature has been produced on its shores.

I've never gotten this as a name, probably because it ends with land? It just doesn't work for me

Some country/City names such as India or Paris sound nice, but Ireland isn’t meant for humans. If you want something similar sounding, Isla is beautiful.

Seems ridiculous on a human. I'd only prefer it as a country name.
