Ennis Hunt and Rylan Goodnight met and married when she was nineteen and he was twenty-five. He worked in retail, growing up in a store. He was good with people and numbers, and so was in sales. Ennis was good at his job and worked for a very successful branch of the store; he made quite a bit of money. Rylan was studying English in order to teach it.
After a year of happy marriage, the two had twins: identical boys Shilo and Theo. They had their father's eyes. Rylan went from in-person to online school with two more years till graduation. Ennis was working double shifts to keep up with expenses.
Shilo and Theo grew, Shilo being adventurous, exploring every nook and cranny, turning over every rock, and often getting himself injured from doing backflips off the roof. Theo is very outgoing, befriending nearly everyone he meets. He has an inner circle, of course, made up of his brother and two other boys in the neighborhood. Once the twins began school, it was clear that Shilo had a career filled with world travel ahead of him. He loved learning languages, and is learning four (currently, at fourteen). Theo, on the other hand, is a math whiz. Ever since he learned how to add, he's loved doing calculations and problems. It's made him a very logical person. Shilo picked up the bass guitar at age six and plays in a band with his friends. Theo plays video games with his friends. He likes shooter games, but Rylan only lets him play these sometimes.
Two years after giving birth, Rylan secured her first teaching job at a local elementary school. When the boys were five, Ennis was promoted to head of sales.
Ennis and Rylan were satisfied with two kids, and for nine years they lived in blessed contentedness. Ennis became head of personnel at his store and Rylan moved to middle school. When Shilo and Theo were nine, however, a big surprise came in the form of twins Aaliyah and Seb. The parents were in shock at the pregnancy, the whole family at the birth. The boys were jealous of the babies and all the attention they got. They didn't like how they had to care for them, either. They weren't fun, couldn't play, couldn't speak, couldn't function without help. Dislike turned to tolerance, which turned into protective love once Aaliyah and Seb were around two.
Aaliyah is like Shilo, adventurous to the point of injury. She was the first of the twins to walk, and also the first to get sick from putting some weird thing in her mouth. Now, at age five, she has gotten in trouble numerous times for doing "reckless and dangerous" things on the playground, such as sitting on the horizontal bar of the swingset. Seb is a caring soul, always looking out for his friends and siblings. He is often worried about Aaliyah and Shilo with their dangerous tendencies. Seb is always a listening ear and as a result is well loved in the family and classroom. Now that they are in school, Rylan sees Aaliyah takes after her with a love of English and writing. She is well ahead of her peers in this subject and can be found reading books meant for kids two to three years older than her. Seb loves art and shows talent for someone with so little control of his faculties. Much of his art is showcased on the fridge door. Funnily enough, Aaliyah likes drawing after school. It's almost like an art class, with Seb teaching her some things and sometimes the two sitting in silence, coloring together. Seb more often, however, dances. He loves tap dancing most of all. Seb takes lessons on the weekends with another little boy in his class. They are planning to do a duet at the school talent show.
When Shilo and Theo were eleven and Aaliyah and Seb were two, Ennis was moved to a larger location of the store, about an hour away. The Hunts moved into a bigger house and Rylan transferred to the local high school, teaching English I and II. Ennis and Rylan were happy with their family, but they wanted another kid. Little did they know they would get three for the price of one soon after the move.
Nate, Stephen, and Reina were born when the older twins were eleven and the younger twins were two. It was a handful with five kids under the age of five, but luckily Shilo and Theo were there.
The triplets, now three, have shown parts of their sweet personalities. Nate is creative, imitating Seb and Aaliyah's drawings. He tells fanciful stories (and elaborate lies) that make his family laugh. He sculpts with Play-Doh, and though the shape isn't always there, his brilliance is. Stephen is the shy one. He doesn't like adults who get in his face or other kids that much. Even being around all his siblings can be a lot for the little guy. He's quite caring and kind, though. Reina follows the adventurous streak, tagging along with Aaliyah at parks and such. Seb keeps a close eye on her for his big brothers, though, as Shilo is often doing something adventure-y and Theo is hanging out with friends. Although none are in school yet, Nate seems to like history. Shilo and Theo can often be found reading their history books aloud with him on their lap, looking at the pictures. Stephen likes hearing about science, especially biology, and loves watching chemistry experiments that his mom or oldest brothers videoed. Reina shows an interest in art like Seb. One can find Seb teaching his baby sister how to draw or mix colors. She can also be found stealing Nate's sculptures and re-doing them. Nate likes dancing, like Seb. He once tried to tap dance in his brother's shoes. Rylan and Ennis have decided to enroll him in classes once he's five. Stephen can be found reading kid's nature books on a daily basis. He really likes the dinosaur ones. Reina is the first of her siblings to like playing sports. She plays soccer right now, but she seems to like basketball. Ennis, a lover of sports, has decided to let her try as many sports as she likes when she's older.
Shilo and Theo are now freshmen in high school. Unfortunately, they can't have their mom as an English teacher, but they do have free homework help. Aaliyah and Seb are in kindergarten, one the teacher's bane and the other the teacher's secret favorite. Nate, Stephen, and Reina are often at daycare, but occasionally come to school. Rylan's students love seeing the kids.
