1 Irene if it's three syllables; Eileen for the song, of course: come on!
2 I like Jocelyn very much; Josceline is needlessly complicated.
3 A place, not a person; if a person, then a male one.
4 Paula definitely; the best of the fem forms of Paul. Pauletta is what an eight-year-old might name her doll. I prefer Paul for a boy.
5 I don't mind Sonia but it's bland and flabby compared to Sophia.
