Delia is actually quite pretty, and maybe better than Delilah. I would use it if a partner liked it so much. Dahlia would come to mind first though.

If I were to use a variant of this I would pick Adelia first though.

I had an aunt Delia as a kid. I thought I was really clever because I used to call her Aunt Donut because she was like Cordelia but missing her core.... 🤣🤣🤣

I like it a little bit more then Cordelia. A bit less harsh. Softer. I met a baby Delia a few years ago, it made my day. Sweet and retro.

I like it. It's uncommon yet beautiful, and is my favorite 'D' name for a girl, said as DEE-lee-uh.

I've only recently noticed this old-fashioned gem.
(I prefer DEH-lee-a to DEE-lee-a.)
And I can't but compare Delia to Adelia, (and to unrelated) Delilah and Dahlia.
And it seems, that soft mellow Delia is overshadowed by flamboyant Adelia, dazzling Delilah and vibrant Dahlia.

Even though, I'd still prefer Adelia to Delia, I find the latter endearing and quite interesting.
