I knew and know many many Jennifers. Jenns, Jens, Jennas, Not so many Jennys or Jennies though!

I've heard that Gen Z thinks of this as an "old lady name" so maybe it'll be back in 20 years or so? When their kids are having kids??

I think Jennifer is actually a pretty neat name. If you say it so many times that it loses its meaning, it has a really interesting sound! I love it as a middle name now, it makes a combo so warm and real.

Jenna is probably my least favourite variant, it sounds mean to me. I always thought Jenny was cute, but people seem to stop using it after a certain age. My great-great grandma was a Jeanne called Jenny, so maybe I have a nostalgic family bias for the name.

Have known three, two went by the full name, the third by a nn not related to her given name. Always liked it, also like the root name Guinevere. Jenny is cute, but Jenna sounds truncated.

I’ve recently just read a book called Believarexic which the main characters name is Jennifer nickname JJ which I actually quite like.

As far as the name itself it’s okay but awfully Gen X and dated. I also find it quite stale now. There are lots of nice Jennifer namesakes and the sound itself is not bad but just not my style. I love Jenny and Jenna. Jen is meh and Jenn is okay but I think of Jenn Carter lol. Guinevere is awfully nice and Yenny is also cool. I see Jennifer like Patricia, it’s neat, but wonderful as a middle name as it has that interesting sound.

I think Jennifer will come back when kids start naming their children after all the Jennifer's alive now are grandmothers.

Yes, I knew many, MANY Jennifers when I was growing up in the 80's and 90's. I probably knew more Jennifers, Jessicas, and Sarahs than any other name. It was ubiquitous.

I used to hate the name because I was burnt out on it, but now it's grown on me, a little. I prefer Jennifer to Jenna, or anything else. It just sounds more complete.

Jenny/Jennie is cute, but none of the Jennifers I knew went by that NN. I don't know why.

In my entire high school class, we have one Jennifer and a Jenifer. I think the name Jennifer is a very beautiful name, and I get why it was popular (in the past). Jenna is far more common in my age group; I know 4. I even know someone named Jennah and Gyna. My favorite variants of the name include Jennica, Jen, Jenn, and Jenny. I’d also use Jennifer, because it sounds so nice.

I don't live in an English speaking country, so my chances of meeting any Jennifers are lower.
Still, I've met 2. One of them was an English teacher I had (she was American) and the other was a kid (born 2008, I think). Both of them were called Jenny for short.

I like Jennifer as it feels fresh where I live, but in English speaking countries it is one of the most dated names (according to https://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/decades/century.html Jennifer is the third name most used for girls from 1922 to 2021), so when I think about that it makes me like it a bit less.

I like Jen, Jenn and Jenna as nicknames. Jenny feels to childish. Jenna is a nice nickname, but Jen and Jenn will always be my favourites.

I’ve known several Jennifers and all but one of them were called Jenny. The other was Jennifer. I’m not wild about the name but I don’t hate it. I think Jenna is my favorite variant.

I've known a few and taught a few. I like the name and wouldn't mind using it. As a nn I prefer Jenny to Jen. For variants, I like Guinevere in theory but not in practice, and I don't enjoy Jenna at all.

I feel like I must've encountered a zillion Jennifers. Probably there were about 8 of them at my high school. At university my closest friend was a Jennifer. I don't know how many I've personally been introduced to, though. A dozen? It's not the most memorable name. It's good. I like Jenn more than Jen, but whatever, either is fine. The only Jenny I can recall was called that when she was in grade school, but I think she switched to Jen or Jennifer later.

I guess I don't like Jenna as much. It's okay. But it reminds me of Jenna Bush so I have a mental picture of an overprivileged rich blond brat from a red state. I like Brenna and Glenna more than Jenna.
