Personally it reminds me of the movie of the woman with dissociative identity disorder. For that reason I wouldn’t choose it, just like the names Lilith or Salem.

Absolutely love Sybil! She's one of my top names -- nicknamed Zibby or Sosie! I prefer this spelling to Sibyl but both are lovely :)

I strongly prefer it spelt Sibyl. It's uncommon, and I like the association with the Greek prophetess.

I prefer Sibyl; it's a good name and I'd be happy if it regained some of its former popularity. I've never met a Sibyl, and I'd like to.

I love it, it’s such an old name that could definitely make a comeback! It’s also very similar to one of my favourites, Sylvie.

I prefer it spelled Sibyl. I don’t know why. It’s a spunky ancient name that is underrated. Billie is a cool nickname that could ground it in modern times.
