[Opinions] Ekaterina
What do you think about the name Ekaterina. It's a Russian form of Katherine. I think that name was from Greek word hekateros meaning "each of the word". Give some opinions. Thanks. :)

Seems really cool, I wouldn't use it myself but it seems nice. I would have a common middle name with it (In my opinion if you have a very unusual name you should have a more common middle name, that's just my opinion however) so here's a list I can think of.Ekaterina Lauren,
Ekaterina Jane,
Ekaterina Amelia.

it sounds very sharp and daggery, I love the sound of it. Much better than Katherine.

No doubt fine in its own habitat, but redundant in Anglophone places, where Katharine, Catherine and all their variants have been so very prevalent for so very long. And I'm not confident about your projected etymology: not even sure what it might mean.

I think it's autocorrect, BtN says it's "each of the two".

When I am finally appointed Dictator-In-Chief of the Entire Known Universe, with unlimited powers, autocorrect will be the first to go.

I like it. It's spiky in an appealing way. The Hecate connection seems more obvious than Katherine.

I think it's really pretty but would look out of place if one's cultural background wasn't in line with the name's etymology.
