Taylor met her now-husband Lenny, a business major, through her friend Justus. They quickly hit it off and ended up falling for each other. Their relationship escalated quickly, but after five years and three sons they're positive they made the right choice.
Kai and Karter took two different routes when it came time to choose. Kai is in school for exhibition design and other museum studies. Karter went to trade school to become a carpenter. He met Laia when he moved into his apartment last year, and after a year of dating they are recently married.
Unfortunately, just after Karter and Laia's wedding, Walt passed away at age 62. He was suffering from lung issues, but passed peacefuly in his sleep. The celebration of life was both melancholic and joyful with all the memories of Walt. Angelina is taking it very hard, as is expected, so Karter and Laia will move into the old house while Angelina stays with Taylor's family. Kai will likely become Angelina's caretaker after he gets back from college.
