I don't care for it even on a boy, but on a girl it's way worse. I just think of the friendly ghost. 👻
Jasper for a boy is infinitely better. Even Caspar would be better

As a feminine name I suggest you: Caspera, Casperina, Caspara, Casparina, Kaspara, Kasparina.

Italian forms: Gaspara, Gaspera, Gasparina, Gasperina, Gasparra / Parina, Parra (these two are NNs). All these are very rare, nearly extinct for newborns but still in namebooks.

I love the book Rule by Jay Crownover and the female main character is nicknamed Casper. It's been a guilty pleasure name since.

Ps. A similar name that is feminine is Vesper.

I read it in a book too, there was a girl nicknamed Casper but that wasn't her real name

I thought you might! Did you know they are making a movie of the book! I love that whole series and I think it might have started my love for "weird" names.

Her real name is Shaw.
